3D laserové skenovanie čoraz viac preniká do najrôznejších oblastí priemyslu, architektúry či stavebníctva. Ide o najmodernejšiu technológiu rýchleho zberu veľkého množstva dát na presné a detailné zameranie skutočného stavu objektov a zachytenie reality.

Používame najnovší laserový skener P40 od firmy Leica. Je schopný skenovať rýchlosťou 1 milión bodov za sekundu. Má veľký dosah až 270 m a vysokú hustotu skenovania aj menej ako 1 x 1 mm. Uvedené parametre nám zaručujú vysoký detail a rýchlosť zberu dát, veľmi nízky šum a vysokú výslednú presnosť.

Laserové skenovanie sa používa v mnohých oblastiach ako je napríklad meranie geometrických parametrov objektov, digitalizácia kultúrneho dedičstva, skenovanie potrubných systémov, určovanie deformácií objektov, meranie objektov pre projekčné účely a reverzné inžinierstvo. Výstupy v rôznych formátoch sa prispôsobujú potrebám zákazníkov. Môže ísť o mračno bodov, 3D modely, digitálne terénne modely, 2D alebo 3D výstupy pre CAD softvéry (rezy, pohľady), 3D výstupy pre BIM, alebo napríklad aj 3D virtuálne modely v kvalite fotografie.
